This one is not in Leicestershire or the local area. One of my friends from our running club persuaded me of the merits of this run.
Wow! One of the most stunning, friendly, best organised races I have taken part in. I’ve run in events in Stockholm, Paris, Barcelona and Madrid. I’d choose Conwy before any of those, especially if the weather is this good!
This was an organised race.
There were road closures, marshalls, water stops and portable toilets en-route.
As the pictures show, the weather was glorious, even in late November. This is a very exposed route, weather conditions can change very quickly.
Unknown – as this was the organised race with ample water stops and loos.
The run, in simple terms, starts and ends flat. The flat run is interrupted by a very large hill .
Great Orme takes you up above the Irish Sea,then you come back down again. It’s as simple as that.
